Profile

I am a painter, illustrator and 3D artist. My work draws upon environmental issues, folklore, new materialism, storytelling and the Western Esoteric Tradition. It focuses on the spirit of place and the need to find another way of perceiving the relationship between the human and the non-human in the face of the current ecological crisis, one that honours the interconnection between all things.

I graduated from  Plymouth College of Art, receiving an MA (Distinction) in Creative Practices for Sustainability  and also won the Plymouth College of Art Sustainability Prize 2014. I have presented papers about my creative practice at numerous academic conferences and am currently illustrating/writing a children’s book on ecological destruction and the importance of trees.
